If you are touring or relocating to another country and a problem arises, please consult your new local Lexus dealer. The warranty service may not be provided by the local dealer, because your Lexus vehicle may not comply with the regulatory and/or environmental requirements of that country. Your vehicle was designed and built to resist corrosion. Application of additional rust inhibiting materials is not necessary, nor is it required in order to keep the six-year warranty coverage in effect.
E) WHAT CAN YOU DO TO PROTECT YOUR LEXUS AGAINST CORROSION?
In order to protect your vehicle against corrosion, it is important that you clean your vehicle regularly, following these suggestions:

■ If insects, tar, bird droppings, condensation or other similar deposits have accumulated on your vehicle, wash it away as soon as possible.
■ Wash your vehicle in the shade.
■ If you drive on salted or dusty roads, or if you drive near the seaside, hose off the under carriage at least once a month. Under certain conditions, special care should be taken to protect your Lexus vehicle against corrosion.

■ If your Lexus vehicle is damaged due to an accident that removes, peels, or strips the paint and protective coating, ensure your vehicle is repaired as soon as possible. The cost of such repairs is considered the responsibility of the owner.
